Delayed.

Yeah, so...apparently there was a storm in New York this morning which has caused chaos at LaGuardia. Translation?

My flight that was supposed to have me IN New York at 3:40pm now doesn't even leave ATL until 4:15. Meaning I'm sitting in the airport until then. Interestingly enough, I'm not irritated. If I had something I had to be there for TODAY then I probably would be but, since I don't. I'll just sit....and wait. And hope people call and text me. :D

edited at 3:32pm: Still here. And now not leaving until 7:17pm. **Sigh**

Leavin' on a jet plane...

Soooooooo...it's my last night in Columbus. I'm packed...for the most part. All the big stuff (as in things that will need to be shipped or driven up) is in boxes. I saved packing my suitcase for last. Mostly because I considered that easiest. I'm taking clothes enough for 3 weeks basically. Which does sound like a lot. Except I'm not allowing it to be. Especially with the cost for extra bags on the plane. 2 checked bags and my carryon. That's all. For 3 weeks. *sigh*

Today was harder than I thought it would be. When I got to church, Brother Rose, a counselor in the bishopric asked me if I'd share my testimony later in the meeting "just like...2 minutes" he said. I agreed. As I'm about a minute in to my 2 minute testimony I feel a hand on my shoulder and it's Brother Rose who whispers to me "Can you go until 20 'til?" I look at the clock. 11:30. Suddenly my 2 minute testimony has become a 12 minute one. I somehow filled the 12 minutes, but I feel like it wasn't the most logical sounding thing. What can you do?

Anyway, I'm going to breakfast with the family before the kids get off to school, then Mom and Dad will leave for work. Tristan is taking me to the airport and he's picking me up at the house at 9. The flight's out of ATL at 1:30 which puts me on the ground at 3:30. And there you have it! Wish me luck!!!
