Failure.

See? This is a perfect example of why I don't blog. Failure in less than a month. It's been about 6 weeks since the last post, which means there's some catching up to do...

1. I bought a plane ticket and gave my notice at work!

My last day at the office is the 31st of this month, and then I've got 10 days to get things square (and possibly take a mini-vacay with the fam?) before I'm on a plane to NY on the 11th! :D SO exciting, yet becoming increasingly scary as the days pass...

2. Jon extended his mission.

He'll be home Sept. 30th now instead of Sept. 2nd. It's what he wanted and it makes me feel better about leaving. Before, I was going to feel bad if I didn't come home when he came home (classes start on the 4th), but now classes will be in full swing and hopefully I'll have a job (and an internship? maybe?). I'm currently trying to convince him to come to NY to see me before he settles in to adult-get-a-job-get-in-school-get-married-and-have-babies post-missionary-ness. We'll see.

3. I passed my exit assessment.

The final nail in the CSU coffin. My exit presentation and department interview...OVER. Good riddance.

4. I started packing.

One word, though I don't even think it's actually a word: Ugh.


I'm headed to Lagrange in the morning. I'm taking senior pictures for Morgan, then spending the night up there, hittin' church and then headin' back to c-town Sunday evening. On that note, I'm gonna do some laundry and get back to packing/cleaning the room. See ya (hopefully in less than 6 weeks!)
